Rob > The view from Crillon Le Brave looking east toward Bedoin. That's Mt. Vontoux looming on the left. The weather station located at the top of the mountain is the finish line for one of the final stages of this year's Tour de France; a one-hour bike ride from Bedoin (center of image) for the pro riders, an all day affair for mere mortals. Today, I think we'll be driving.
Rob > The view back down the mountain road that brought us to the top of Ventoux. The whitewashed rock, totally baron except for the heartiest of weeds, accentuated that "top of the world" feeling at an altitude of more than 6270 feet.
Rob > As if the view atop Mt. Ventoux needed accessorizing... from the back side of the mountain a line of more than a dozen humming Ferrari's announced their arrival and quickly captured onlooker's attention.
Rob > When you drive a Ferrari, there is just no point in having a rear view mirror.
Rob > Sunday was Market Day in L'isle Sur La Sorque.
Rob > Bouquets, 5 euros a bunch.
Rob > "Open" for Business
